KONE is using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and generative artificial intelligence (AI) to speed up elevator and escalator maintenance. Accessing foundation model Claude 3 through Amazon Bedrock, the company created the Technician Assistant. As Amy Chen, senior vice president and chief innovation officer, says, generative AI is making a positive impact on technicians’ work and helping to deliver a better service to customers.
